Emergency Oxygen Provider

The administration of oxygen during a medical emergency may be one of the most helpful interventions a rescuer can offer a patient during any medical problem or accident management. In diving, emergency oxygen can also help decrease the severity of decompression sickness for a stricken diver or can make a critical difference if a diver suffers a major injury during diving. Diving accidents or injuries are extremely rare, but when the occur the response of a trained professional rescuer can provide immediate treatment in the field. The NAUI Oxygen Administration program will teach participants in the proper administration and use of emergency medical oxygen in the field using the latest equipment available today.
