SSI Instructors are the most qualified and skilled diving professionals in the world! SSI Instructors train new divers and offer continuing education opportunities to certified divers worldwide. Whether your goal is a career or avocation, diving instruction as a SSI Instructor can be one of the most rewarding and satisfying activities in a lifetime of diving.

The SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) is designed to train and qualify SSI Instructor candidates. During the course, candidate instructors learn effective methods to teach skin and scuba diving in compliance with SSI Diving Course Standards.

The course prepares and evaluates candidates who seek certification as SSI Instructors and assures that prospective members have the knowledge, skills, fitness and proper attitude to be called a SSI Instructor.
