Grand Cayman Update
August 28, 2010What a week! We made a total of 19 dives including numerous excursions along the incredible Cayman walls, a trip to Sting Ray City and a couple of scooter rides including the West Bay Express, riding scooters for slightly over a mile along the coast. The weather was absolutely incredible and the water temperature was a balmy 86 degrees F at any depth! For those who ask why we go to the Caribbean in the summer, just ask any of our divers and they will gladly fill you in! As we send this post from our balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea it is only with a little bit of sadness that we acknowledge we'll be leaving paradise in just a few hours. We'll be posting pictures of our trip later this week on the website, so check back in a few days. We'll see everyone in Buffalo. Cheers - Linda & Dallas
Back Home
July 20, 2010Hard to believe that our last post was a week ago. The dives in Key Largo were great, although we had to call off our return visit to the Spiegel on Friday due to weather. Fortunately we had a backup plan and headed north to Ginnie Springs for a fun dive and a quick freshwater rinse. This trip was worth the drive and will definitely be on our schedule again. Give us a few more days and we'll get some pictures posted.
Florida Keys Wreck Trek - Key Largo
July 14, 2010Just finished our first day of diving here in Key Largo. Conditions were great so we added an afternoon dive to our itinerary. This morning we did two great dives on the Spiegle Grove. We completed our day with a dive on The Benwood and finally a fun reef dive on French Reef. Fun dives and great wrecks. Tomorrow we dive the Eagle. We'll keep you posted.
Florida Keys Wreck Trek - Key West
July 14, 2010Couldn't get online for a few days, so this news is a couple of days delayed. Monday and Tuesday we completed 6 dives on the Vandenberg. We definitely "scratched the surface" and learned our way around the wreck, but we have a lot more to explore! Guess we'll have to come back. By the way, this wreck is awesome and worth every minute we spent underwater.
Pompano Beach, Florida
July 10, 2010Today was our first day of diving and it doesn't get much better! 4-Dives, mirror conditions and great people to dive with. (All we can say is wish you were here too!) We dove 5 (count'em) wrecks and one drift along a reef this afternoon. Okay, three of the wrecks were part a drift dive but they were still great to see. Besides wrecks we saw a lot of marine life too. Way too much to list here, but one of the more memorable encounters for most in our group was the huge grouper we encountered on our first dive of the day. Mike - one of or smaller divers - was afraid, maybe even really afraid. But he survived to dive another day! Tomorrow we're heading further south to Key West. We have 2 days of dives planned, including several on the Vandenburg on Monday and Tuesday. Check back. We'll keep you update on our latest adventure! By the way, if you're ever headed to he Florida Keys you owe it to yourself to stop in Pompano Beach.
River Drifts Are In Full Swing
June 30, 2010We just got back in from our weekly river drift. The water is warm (72-degrees) and with an improved entry point it couldn't be easier or more fun! If you've never dove the river (or even if you have) you owe it to yourself to join us at least once or twice this summer for a fun dive and a great experience. Not only do we have a free cookout at the end, but we also have plenty of staff available to dive with you if this is your first river drift. Join us and find out for yourself just how much fun this dive can be.
Wednesday Charter Rescheduled
June 30, 2010The wind blew us off (again) so we've rescheduled our 3-Tank Wednesday dive charter to next week July 7th. Not everyone on today's charter (June 30th) could make it next week so there's plenty of room on the boat. Hope you can join us. You can signup online of simply give us a call.

Congratulations to Ethan R!
May 17, 2010Wow - talk about beginner's luck! Just ask 12 year old Ethan how lucky he feels. Ethan is in the process of completing his NAUI Junior Scuba Diver certification, but along the way he also participated in a few or our 2010 Scuba Challenge sessions this past winter. On May 15th we held the grand prize drawing for a brand new digital underwater camera system by SeaLife and Ethan was the lucky winner. What a great start to a lifetime of diving! Congratulations to Ethan and all of our participants! Now that the ice has melted, we'll see you in the water soon.
