Training
At Discover Diving we proudly offer NAUI certification for all of our recreational, technical and leadership training programs. The National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) is one of the oldest and most respected training agencies worldwide. NAUI was formed by the sports' pioneer leaders in 1959 and held it's first instructor training course in Houston Texas in 1960. Today, NAUI Instructors provide underwater education around the globe. NAUI certified divers are respected as some of the best trained, bar none. You can carry your NAUI diver certification card with pride!
- Our recreational diver courses offer training opportunities ranging from beginner "Learn to Dive" programs to a variety of continuing education and specialty diver ratings. Generally, recreational divers dive no deeper than 130 feet and will give you the skills and confidence you need to explore safely underwater.
- Our technical diver courses provide training for more experienced divers who wish to engage in deeper diving (below 130 feet) and/or to master techniques such as decompression and mixed gas diving.
- Our leadership development program can prepare you for exciting roles in the diving industry as a NAUI Divemaster or NAUI Instructor. Some may even choose to pursue professional instruction as a career opportunity, while others pursue leadership training simply for the fun of being able to share their love of diving with others.
